Why drinkware earns its cost

Drinkware is more expensive per unit than almost anything else in the catalogue and still tends to deliver the best return, for one reason: people use it every day, in front of colleagues, for years. A tumbler on a desk is seen more times in a month than a giveaway pen is in its whole life.

The range covers four groups. Insulated stainless steel tumblers — the Two-Tone 20oz, the Viking Nova, the Hydrapeak Nomad — are the mainstream choice and the most likely to be kept. Water bottles, in aluminium and insulated stainless, suit gyms, outdoor events and anywhere people carry rather than sit. Ceramic mugs stay in the office and read as a warmer, more domestic gift. Glassware and silicone — the Silipint shatterproof wine glass, stemless tumblers — suit hospitality and events where real glass is a liability.

Insulated or not, and how to tell what you need

Double-walled insulation is the single biggest driver of both price and retention. If the item is meant for hot drinks or for keeping something cold through a working day, insulated stainless steel is worth the premium — an uninsulated bottle that sweats on a desk gets replaced quickly.

Single-wall aluminium bottles are much cheaper and are the right answer for event handouts, race packs and anywhere you are supplying hundreds rather than dozens. Do not put hot drinks in them.

Capacity is a real decision, not a detail. A 32oz bottle is a commitment to carrying it; 16–20oz suits a desk and a commute. When in doubt, mid-size items get used more.

Decoration, and what survives a dishwasher

Printed decoration on drinkware faces a test almost nothing else does: repeated washing. Laser engraving on stainless steel removes that risk entirely, because the mark is cut into the metal rather than sitting on it — the finish is tonal rather than coloured, which suits a clean logotype. Printing reproduces brand colours exactly and is the only option on ceramic and silicone.

Care instructions vary by product and by decoration method, and we would rather confirm the specific item with the manufacturer than give you a general rule that turns out not to apply. If a tumbler is going to a client, ask us and we will check before you order.

Custom Drinkware Questions, Answered

What kinds of drinkware do you carry?

Double wall tumblers, BPA-free water bottles, stainless steel tumblers, ceramic mugs and stemless wine glasses. Tumblers and bottles are the workhorses — they get carried to work daily, which is a lot of impressions per unit.

How much does custom drinkware cost?

From $3.22 up to $52.09 a unit before decoration, depending on the material and construction. Insulated stainless steel sits at the top of that range; moulded plastic at the bottom. Every product shows its quantity price breaks.

Most products here also carry a setup charge, shown on the product card.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Lower than most of the store — from 24 units on some items up to 144 on others. That makes drinkware practical for staff gifts and small events, not just bulk campaigns.

Do you charge a setup fee?

Not on everything. Many of the products we carry have no setup charge at all. Where a setup charge does apply it is tied to that particular product rather than to your order as a whole, so it does not scale with how many you buy. Each product card shows whether a fee applies before you open it.

If you want this confirmed for a specific product before you order, contact us and we will tell you exactly what applies.

How fast can I get my order?

Production runs around 7 days from the point you approve your proof, plus transit time on top. Exact timing varies by product and by how it is decorated.

We do not currently offer a rush service. If you are working to an event date, contact us with your in-hands date before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable rather than let you find out late.

Will I see a proof before my order is printed?

Yes. We produce a proof on every order before anything goes into production, so you can check your logo, colours and placement before we print. Nothing is manufactured until you approve it.
